Geography is a popular and successful department at The Marches School at Technology College, with very good results at GCSE.
Our Ethos
“Geography is about the world around us and our place within that world. In geography lessons pupils are encouraged to provoke and answer questions about the natural and human worlds. Pupils investigate these questions from different scales and from different perspectives. As pupils study Geography at the MarchesSchool and Technology College they encounter different societies and cultures and develop a knowledge of places and environments throughout the World. Geography lessons inspire pupils to think about their own place in the world, their values and their link to other people and environments. Geography inspires, develops skills, encourages understanding, challenges opinions and widens horizons!Without Geography you are nowhere! ”
