Modern Foreign Languages Department visited Normandy, France with 44 Year 7 pupils and 5 members of staff.
Pupils visited the medieval town of Mont Saint Michel and toured the abbey where the Harry Potter film "The
Philosopher's Stone" was filmed.
They also spent time in Bayeux, viewing the famous tapestry and experienced a French market. Pupils visited a museum in Arromanches and saw the remains of the Mulberry harbour. Time was also spent visiting Pointe du Hoc and evening activities included 10 pin bowling, a disco and sampling frogs legs and snails.An enjoyable time was had by all.
