Marches Sixth Form Celebrates all Student Achievements on A Level Results Day

Today, Marches Sixth Form proudly announces the exceptional success of its students on this year’s A Level results day. Demonstrating our unwavering commitment to inclusivity and academic excellence, showcasing the sixth form’s dedication to fostering an environment where every individual thrives. With students successfully joining the top universities, including Oxford, through to individual success at all levels leading to exciting apprenticeships in Sports Coaching and the Chemical Industry.

With a strong emphasis on equal opportunity, Marches Sixth Form has once again demonstrated that education knows no boundaries. Students of all backgrounds and abilities have worked diligently, supported by dedicated teachers, pastoral staff and a supportive community, to achieve outstanding academic outcomes, as a year group profoundly affected through their studies by the pandemic.

Headteacher, Alison Pearson expressed, “We are thrilled to witness the outstanding achievements of our students. These results truly reflect the spirit of The Marches – a place where every student’s potential is recognised and nurtured. Our inclusive approach to education empowers individuals to excel, and these results are a testament to the hard work, determination, and collaborative efforts of our students and staff.”

Notable achievements:

Agata Bakalorz – Will begin her studies at Oxford University –St John’s College, reading Philosophy and Theology having achieved A*A*A*A

Evie Allen – A*AA will begin a mathematics degree at Liverpool University

Josh Sambrook – A*A*AA with be reading History and Politics at Warwick University

Callum Higgins – A*A*AA is going to Lancaster University to read Law

Ellie Dyke – A*A*A will be reading History at Liverpool John Moore’s University

Emillie Parsons-Hann – A*A*AA gaining her a place at Warwick University to read History

Josh Youens – with BTEC Distinction Distinction Merit and will read Computing and Information Technology at Wolverhampton University

Lilly Jones – BTEC Distinction, Distinction and A level D and will move on to an apprenticeship at Moneypenny

Sean Barry – Medicine at Birmingham
