Marches School Carol Concert 2014

Christmas got off to a fantastic start with the wonderful Marches Carol Service at St Oswald’s Church on Thursday 11th December. The service gave friends and families the opportunity to enjoy performances from The Marches School Choir, Staff Choir, School String ensemble, School Wind Band, Solo Artists, Marches Drama Students and the Meadows and Whittington Primary School Choirs. In total, over 100 students from The Marches School and surrounding Primary Schools took part.

Miss Harriet Craddock, Leader of Music at The Marches School, commented, “The church was packed full of family members, staff, students and members of the local community, all coming together to celebrate Christmas. It was great to see so many performers thoroughly enjoying the evening. Our thanks go to everyone involved and to family and friends who are always so supportive”.

This has been a very busy few weeks for the Marches School Performing Arts Department, having also taken part in the Oswestry Christmas Lights Switch On.
