Marches School Success at National Enterprise Challenge

The Ryman National Enterprise Challenge is part of The Inspirational Learning Group, whose aim is to provide innovative and enterprising off-timetable events for schools, colleges and universities; engaging, inspiring and motivating students to be the best they can be.

Now in its sixth successful year, what started as a coffee shop conversation, The Ryman National Enterprise Challenge is now the UK’s largest enterprise competition having attracted 450 schools and 200,000 students since its inception in 2013.

The Marches School took part with 280 students, who all created a unique women’s football community event and designed the marketing material to promote the event as well as considering sponsorship and costs.

Each school has a winning team who are invited to present to Theo Paphitis in London. Our winning team was Lucy Davies, Keira Lee, Lauren Harper and Halle Williams. They will be going the National Finals in Wembley on 10th July.

Mrs Murphy, Careers Guidance and Inspiration Officer commented; “We were delighted to take part in this prestigious event and to have a team heading to London is a great achievement. I was very impressed that the students were so confident when they stood up in front of their peers to present their ideas. I look forward to taking the winning team to London in July”.
