Sixth Form Launches Exciting Enrichment Programme

Marches Sixth Form EnrichmentStudents in the Sixth Form at The Marches School are queuing up to enrol in the exciting new enrichment opportunities, available to them this term. Coordinated by Mr Gareth Jones, Assistant Head of Sixth Form, the programme consists of an extensive and varied list of activities including: First Aid Training, Young Enterprise, National Citizenship Service, Sports Teams, University visits and Mandarin Chinese Lessons.

Gareth Jones comments, “Giving students the opportunity to take part in activities, outside of their timetabled lessons, enables them to further develop their skills and knowledge and helps to set their university and job applications apart from others. In an environment where everybody is completing for a limited number of university placements and apprenticeships, having the opportunity to take part in additional activities, like the extensive range we offer, is priceless. We are very pleased with our extensive enrichment offer this year and delighted by the enthusiastic uptake by students across Years 12 and 13”
