Human Rights Day | Virtual Summit
Today is #HumanRightsDay, eight of our Year 11 Students attended a Virtual Summit called “Should students know about 9/11?”. They were treated to talks from various guest speakers, including the widow of a man who died in the attack and Sir Simon Schama – a celebrated Historian who lectured and lived in New York at the time of the attack.
The students engaged with various polls to gather their views and the event ended with a Q& A session about 9/11 and extremism in the world. A valuable experience for the students.
