KS3 Student Leadership Team Selected
Last Friday Mr Pritchard, with support from the Deputy Head Boy, Dan Pitt and Deputy Head Girl, Issy McGuinness, selected a ‘Student Leader’ for each year group to be a representative on the main KS3 Student Leadership Team.
With Covid restrictions in place it is particularly important this year to have representatives from each year group, as our Year 11 Student Leaders are unable to physically go into other year group ‘bubbles’.
Well done to the following students who have been chosen as Student Leaders for their year group:
Year 7 – Bethan Miller
Year 8 – Charlie Taaffe
Year 9 – Chloe Downes
We had over 30 applications which were shortlisted to 9 candidates who underwent an interview. The standard was incredibly high and the decision was close. All students who applied will now become KS3 Prefects with designated roles that will be clarified over the coming weeks – the leadership of this group of prefects will be a key role of the new Student Leaders.
Below photographed is Chloe Downes (Year 9) and Beth Miller (Year 7). Charlie interviewed remotely and can be seen on screen.
Congratulations to all students involved!
