Liverpool Art Trips
The Art department took 73 GCSE students to Liverpool on Wednesday 18th September. Students seized the opportunity to take hundreds (some more than a thousand!) photographs of the architecture, waterfront, museum artefacts and artwork exhibited in the Tate Gallery. The feedback from both students and staff confirmed that this educational trip provided our students with inspiration to use back in the classroom. Miss Smith would like to take the opportunity to say how proud she is of all the students who took part. They represented the school and Art department in an excellent manner and we look forward to taking on board any feedback for the next Art trip.
The Art department also recently took all the KS5 Art and Photography students to Liverpool. Our budding artists and photographers took the most stunning images of Liverpool. They returned to school buzzing with ideas and the Art department teaching staff cannot wait to support them on the next step of their journey, helping the students to develop their ideas. A huge well done to all who attended on a really successful trip.
