Marches School Appoints New Student Leadership Team
The Marches School has appointed a new Head Boy, Head Girl, Deputy Head Boy, Deputy Head Girl and Leadership Team ahead of the 2018/19 Academic Year.
Dan Lee and Hattie Leslie-Miller will take up the positions of Head Boy and Head Girl and will be assisted by Max Kinsey and Lucy Arrowsmith in Deputy Positions.
Following an interview and a tough selection process, the Year 10 pupils will take up their positions when the current Year 11 cohort leaves following their GCSE examinations.
The full list of leadership positions are:
Head Boy: Dan Lee
Head Girl: Hattie Leslie-Miller
Deputy Head Boy: Max Kinsey
Deputy Head Girl: Lucy Arrowsmith
Heads of Hargreaves House: Niamh Lowton and Dan Lee
Heads of Bonington House: Harry Curtis and Emelia Newton
Heads of Whitaker House: Ioan Delahay and Rebecca Owen
Heads of Stephens House: Lucy Arrowsmith and Max Kinsey
Heads of Mallory House: Hattie Leslie-Miller and Freddie McGuinness
Sarah Peacock, Assistant Headteacher at the Marches School, commented: “It was a tough selection process as the calibre of students was very high this year. We are delighted to be able to appoint our new Leadership Team and are confident that they will be shining examples to the rest of the school”.
Alison Pearson, Headteacher at the Marches School, added: “I would like to pass on my congratulations to those appointed to the Student Leadership positions. I look forward to hearing the ideas and working closely with the students and look forward to an exciting academic year here at the Marches School in 2018/19”.
