Remembrance Day Reflections
A look back to last Wednesday, when the whole school had a special extended tutor time where students learned about the poppy and reflected on what they should ‘remember’. During break time we had an impeccably observed moment of silence at 11am. Year 7 spent their afternoon learning more about the poppy and then created their own, which we collected together to form wreaths. These were laid and observed, offering a further moment of reflection with the sound of ‘The Last Post’ played by Mr Collier in the background. Some students also prepared short speeches about who they would be specifically remembering this year.
