Students receive Climate Champion Badge
As part of our Climate Futures Week, students entered a competition to create their own vision for a zero-carbon future.
Thani Balasukanthan created a spectacular video and along with second, third prize winners Ava Dzhorgova and Izzie Humphreys, she received a Climate Champion Badge, vouchers for local business Schlurp, and a tree donated by the Border Rotary Club. They were so impressed with Thani’s video, that they have awarded her their Young Environmentalist Award.
