Wellbeing Week: Year 11 Mock Interviews
Last Friday, we welcomed 55 volunteers from local businesses and Rotary Clubs to support our annual Year 11 Mock Interview Day.
During the event, 225 Year 11 students participated in a 30 minute mock interview. This was a great experience for the students to receive feedback from their recently compiled CVs, gain tips for future interviews and gather advice on how to stand out in a competitive job market.
Feedback from both students and volunteers was incredibly positive. In the end of day assembly the Rotarians told the students how impressed they had been by each and every one of them and students left for the weekend feeling immensely proud of themselves. The school has a strong link with the community and we are always very grateful for the time and effort volunteers spend on organising and attending these events.
