Year 10 organise Charity Football Tournament

Calling all Marches students!

Our Year 10 students are organising a Charity Football Tournament to raise money to support our school’s local community charity for the year Ethos Oswestry. The charity provides adapted, short-term accommodation and advocacy support for people with life-changing physical disabilities.

The group of Year 10 students will be organising and officiating the mixed football matches. These will take place after school between 3pm-4pm on the astro.

Dates as follows:
Monday 24th May – Year 7
Tuesday 25th May – Year 9
Wednesday 26th May – Year 8

There will be a £1 entry fee for players which will go towards Ethos – students should please sign up by the 19th May at the PE office. We would encourage participation, it will be a really great tournament with a focus on sportsmanship and fun.

Students are also welcome to come and show their support, however with covid precautions in place, students must please only come and cheer on their year group.
