The Hub Talent Show – A Celebration of Creativity and Confidence!
The annual Hub Talent Show was nothing short of spectacular, a vibrant celebration of the incredible talents of our SEND students across year groups.
The stage came alive with a fantastic variety of acts, from singers and dancers to impressionists and gymnasts, each performer bringing their own unique flair and passion.
After much deliberation, our judges awarded the top three spots: 🥉 3rd Place – Summer (Year 9) 🥈 2nd Place – Zak (Year 7) 🥇 1st Place – Liam (Year 8) for his incredible cartoon character impressions that had the whole room smiling!
The Hub Talent Show is a shining example of what makes our school community so special.
🎭Year 9 Spanish Students Enjoy Live Theatre Experience!
A group of our Year 9 students heading into GCSE Spanish had the opportunity to watch a brilliant Spanish-language play called Primera Cita, a hilarious story following two young people getting ready for a date.
The students had a fantastic time and fully embraced the experience with plenty of audience participation (including Emily Williams taking to the stage herself! 👏).
A few of our students shared their thoughts: 🗣️ Noah Davies: “It was really funny and I want to do it again!” 🗣️ Ellie Mae Shortman: “It was really funny and I could follow what was going on.”
It was a brilliant way to bring language learning to life - ¡muy bien hecho, Year 9!
A huge congratulations to Max Walpole and Adam Humphries (both Year 7), who were selected to represent Shropshire Under 12s in their recent away match against Cheshire at Neston Cricket Club.
Both boys did brilliantly on the day, Adam batted with real confidence, and Max took a key wicket, showing great composure under pressure.
Our talented Year 9 students have been getting creative, and a little creepy, by sculpting their very own gargoyles in Art!
Inspired by Gothic architecture, each sculpture is packed with personality, imagination, and just the right amount of spooky flair. From fierce faces to twisted expressions, these gargoyles are truly a sight to behold!
