On Thursday 25th April as part of our Diversity half term. Some Year 7 pupils were invited to a Guide dog UK talk. The pupils heard all about life with a guide dog, the challenges of having a vision impairment, and they asked some brilliant questions.
As part of our EDIB programme pupils have the opportunity to learn and understand all aspects of the 9 protected characteristics. Inviting Guide Dogs UK in was part of our disability awareness weeks. The Marches has donated £100 to the charity on behalf of the pupils. If anyone would like anymore information please see the link attached. Guide Dogs | The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association
