On Thursday 13th June The Marches School held our 3rd annual Pride march. Students and staff took part in a march around school, finishing with live music and a party atmosphere. As a school we feel it essential to support events like pride where members of our community feel accepted, listened too and represented.
Members of the Safe Space Social club were out to brave the rain and celebrate diversity as part of Oswestry’s first Pride March! They certainly didn’t let the torrential downpours “rain on our parade” and thankfully the sun came out for the main event of the march through town. Mrs Corfield said, “It was great to be part of this historic event and we can’t wait to join in again next year!”
